Binkw32.dll missing or not found

To solve this problem you can try.

Re-installing the game - due to the codec being compiled in to the gamethe only way to ensure that it is in the correct place is to install the game again.

Update the game - if the problem has been caused by a bug in the game  it is possible to resolve this by applying patches that update the game.

Contact the game manufacturer - if the other steps do not solve the problem you will need to contact the support of the game manufacturer.

Other resolutions that can be found include.

Download the binkw32.dll - from one of the many sites that offer dll´s for download, this may help in some cases but according to RAD Games Tools who develop the Bink video codec this should not be done due to the codec being pre-compiled in to the game, adding the dll from another game could cause problems such as your computer or the game crashing.

The downloading of files from unknown sources can lead to your computer being infected by virus´s and/or spyware/malware.

Install RAD Video Tools - as RAD Video Tools does not contain the binkw32.dll this will not solve your problem.

Copy the DLL to another folder - in some cases copying the file to either the game root directory or to the windows system folder can help.
