Opera is a Web browser created originally by Telenor the main Norwegian Telecommunications company, eventually the development became a separate company instead of a part of Telenor and was known as Opera Software ASA. Today the browser is multi platform and is used not only on computers but on mobile devices as well.

Opera uses bookmarks the same as other browsers to save pages for further use these bookmark files use the file extension .adr and are usually found in the program folder for Opera, it is also possible to export and import these files.
