Microsoft Sharepoint is a collaboration software from Microsoft that makes it possible for people to work together despite being in different location, this is done by setting up web sites or portals which allow the users to work on documents and reports etc. when backing up a sharepoint web site a file will be created that uses the .cmp file extension, this is a content migration package.
