The Microsoft File Transfer Manager is a program that is used to download large files from Microsoft, it is able to use download acceleration by splitting the files in to smaller parts which it then tries to download simultaneously within the constraints of the users bandwidth, it also supports the resuming of stopped or paused downloads, files used by the program as temporary files when downloading use the .dlm file extension.
