The program RecordNow that is developed by Roxio is a tool for managing and organising digital music. With the software it is possible read digital music files from devices such as Ipods or other multimedia devices, from Internet Radio and even with the correct hardware music from LPs.

Supported by Record now are formats such as MP3,WMA,AAC,OGG,FLAC and WAV and using the program it is possible to convert in to these formats. When you create a Image file using the program to burn to CD or DVD then the image file makes use of the .gi file extension.
