Windows Live Messenger is a program developed by Microsoft used for Instant Messaging or Chatting over the internet. The messenger uses files for contacts that are usually found in the C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Contacts folder, these files which have the .WindowsLiveContact file extension are known as WindowsLiveContact files.
