Nokia PC Suite is a program used to interface and synchronize between PC´s and Nokia mobile phones. It is used to make backups from the telephone as well as copy data such as images and music to and from the telephone. The firmware for the telephone is also updated through the program.

If you make a backup of the data stored on your telephone it is save using the .nbu file extension and can then be used to restore data from your computer back to your telephone or even to another telephone.
