Microsoft One Note is a program that is used for information gathering and the collaboration of multiple users and can be used on Desktop and Laptop computers as well as Tablet PCs. The interface from One Note can be likened to a ring binder and is used for taking notes, collecting, organizing and sharing data for projects etc.


One Note uses the .one file extension for its files this is a proprietary format, these can include images and audio and when used in conjunction with Tablet PCs can accept handwritten input using a digitizer as well as keyboard input.
